How do we support children and young people?
Our core aim is to support those who support children and young people. You are one of the many amazing people working in the schools, services, organisations and volunteer communities within Norfolk and Waveney. We want to help you find access to training, learning and resources, so that you can feel confident and knowledgeable in your work. One of the ways we try to do this is by finding the gaps in communication or learning provision in the area and doing our best to offer support to fill those gaps.
We regularly send out surveys to try to find any gaps, and we work with children and young people to learn about their experience of services and what they wish people could find out about. We play an active role in several children and young people’s participation groups, including Youth in Mind. We also have Children’s’ Panels in 4 schools of different types and ages within Norfolk. Our Children’s Panels help inform our training offers in TALK, so that we can make sure that sessions we deliver are useful and purpose driven.
